Whoopie Is Finished

Hate monger and misandrist Whoopie Goldberg in true form of the moronic left, Showed how when one cannot win an argument one shuts it down. She and the rest of the cast of “The View” summarily told “goodbye” to Judge Jeanine Pirro tried to bring up an apposing point to the rhetoric that they usually spout. In My opinion the Least that can be done is cancel this show for it’s misadrist and racial Bias. the best thing would be to bring these “““Hosts””” up on Felony Hate crimes.

Wow (Wide Open West) Internet Report

WOW

When moving back to Chicago, we needed an internet provider, as one does, and I’m working from home. This is not news. The interesting part of all of this is that where we are in Oak Forest, IL (Chicago Suburb) there are 2 cable providers that service our area. Comcast, and Wide Open West (WOW). After figuring out which provider was connected to the house. We have had great service from WOW for about 7 months, on my modem. Arris SB6190. I have and am now again very happy with actual speed and response time (more important). Real speeds are at 500+ mbps down and 49+mbps up.

Moving To Jjekyll From Wordpress

Info

Moving the Blog over to Jekyll for Blogging. I can keep up with Emacs (Spacemacs) to do most everything. ## Emacs (Spacemacs) I’ve been using vi/vim for years and I was introduced to Spacemacs, the bridge between Emacs and vim ( evil) I’ve found the Emacs ecosystem to be very alive and busy. Where has this been all my time on computers? Well right in front of my face! I had missed this Huge advantageous system of editor, IDE, mail, news reader, PIM, etc. etc.

Slipknot & Korn

Jammin!

My cousin “=Robert“= was able to get a few Tickets for the Korn Slipknot show here in San Antonio on Sun. Nov 2, 2014 7:00 PM Looking forward to the show.

Update November 3, 2014,

I Went to the show last night, The bands seemed to do a great job. Where we were sitting the sound for Korn was good. The bass drum was a bit over bearing the bass. The Slipknot show was (sound wise) very disappointing. The First 20 min one could hardly hear the singer. The floor and upper tom’s were louder than the bass drum, and it seemed that the cymbals were stage volume only, not seeming to come through the PA at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the stage show. They were very engaged with the crowd and would pump up the audience at even the slightest Lull. Around the 9th song the vocal volume was fixed and the guitar leads were finally discern-able. Over all I enjoyed the eve.

Hobart House

It’s Official

We’ve finally sold our house in Indiana. It was a short sale, The Bank was a TOTAL PITA. (Pain in the Ass) But it’s done. Gone, Finished, History. Huge weight off of my mind for sure.

Update 2018

Selling Hobart and Giving Sauk Village back to the bank were the biggest mistakes I’ve made. I should have held onto them and rented them out to create a passive income stream that would have been huge at this time now.

Irssi Vs Znc

I have been using IRSSI and it’s proxy feature to keep a running connection to freenode. While I play road warrior with the laptop. With a bit of down time over the holidays I came across ZNC. While not a new project it is new to me. I found that it’s features set and project focus is what I was trying to have IRSSI do for me. This IRC bouncer they call it is quite mature now and has many module for expansion..
