- it’s been unseasonably cold already multiple days at sub freezing. Missed my window to patch the wall. in the basement. really sucks. Think I’ll have to just do it anyway
- Mom headed back to Texas for the winter.. and it’s cold down there too.

- Second 8 hour Class for CCW Illinois this Sunday. The Wait for application acceptance begins
- Dragonlore Practices have been progressing nicely as well as the business side and Release information soon to come

- I have had to deal with Band rejection recently. Yes this was a new experiance for me. No Ego or pride pain, Just curiosity as to why? I learned 5+ original songs matching the recordings in 7 days and two auditions. I believe I had them correct and played well for 7 days of work. Reasoning given was “it” Factor and that I had “too many” other projects going to commit. Again I don’t understand. I could understand not playing well or not knowing the songs well enough. So this is curious

- Jazz Just finished up another round of seizures and we still haven’t gotten the coffee card over to the vet. I’m slackin'
- Tried out for a local band here in Oak Forest, Don’t fit the profile I guess, I don’t believe skill level is the issue. It will be interesting to see where they go Some may think…. well I’ll just leave that there
- I’ve been slacking on writing Updates..
- Dragonlore Album Release is coming soon
- Screamking Album Released even sooner.. October I think.
- Last two shows with Trainwreck were great the latter at cheers was the best yet. The Addition of Billy Maddon has surged more life into the band and we’re all stoked
- Completed the Garage Wall Repair
- Started on the Basement Demo to Fix the other 2 Water Leaks in the foundation

- Jazzy’s New Meds are working but he’s had a seizure this afternoon about 15:00 This is the first week off of the potassium bromide

- Spent the week of the forth with friends at Sleeping Bear Dunes Visitors Bureau | Sleeping Bear Dunes
- I have almost finished the garage repair project I know where are the pics.
- Practicing for the First ScreemKing show for 2019
- Jazzy’s new seizure meds and the removal of the Potassium Bromide has seemed to add de-aged him 5 years. He’s much more active and less dizzy

- Heat wave.
- Had a good vacation in sleeping bear dunes over the 4th
- Still need to get the gravel and back fill the garage ditch
- Had to soak down the Dogs to keep them from being Pant Monsters
- Prepping for the ScreamKing Show Sunday July 21st.
- Also Block Party next weekend.
- Still using Emacs for Damn near everything except Browser and shell Eshell and ansiterm seem to klunky

- Back from Florida Now time to start really working
- Mom is up from Texas for the summer and has got flu type symptoms and is being checked out by Urgent Care.

- Made it down to Florida
- Looking at Many different Rehab Houses and work of subs, and assessing markets and values
- Process flow for Acquisition of new properties worked out and setup roughly.
- Finally got the Phone clips ordered from Facebook advertisement.

- Completely Switched to the i3 Desktop environment. to make full use of the Ergodox EZ keyboard and not needing the mouse Ergodox EZ Configurator Current Layout
- With the above I’ve switched to the qutebrowser as well. a vim key binding controlled web browser
- Still fully engaged with Emacs (spacemacs) and all it’s wonders..
- Finally got the Garage walkway pad removed after fixing Baldi’s Concrete saw fuel line

- I’ve adapted to the split keyboard pretty well and gone over 3 weeks without changing the layout so I’m happy with that.
- Got the Pooper Park keys for off leash play at the park.
- Trying a new Medication on Jazz to eliminate the seizures all together

- I’ve found the Major Slow down of my Emacs Setup. mu4e I gave it a year of good use but it still falls short of what mutt will do, and mutt’s speed is amazing
- I was reading Major Hayden’s Blog again and saw that he’s using I3 Window manager and went and checked out their page. I noticed that the default control is 1 Keyboard 2 mouse as a minor (yeah it works too) feel, I tried it out. I believe I’ve switched from KDE/Plasma permanently.
- I’m note sure if I had a Bug (physical) or just on a down cycle but since the weekend with the family with my Uncle Ken’s passing I’ve been really out of it, Unmotivated Down and lethargic. I Believe I am finally coming out of it.

- Since My last Update I’m now a 7 Year Racker (Rackspace Employee) This is the longest I’ve worked at any one place.
- Keep an Ear out for DragonLore (new band potential)
- I/We have finally paid off our first new Car the 2013 Nissan Juke
- I’ve been Digging into Puppet (Configuration Management) for RS and in general.. Re Acquiring knowledge.
- Between the last update in December I’ve have been Accepted and Initiated as an Entered Apprentice of the Oak Forest Lodge 832 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons
